West Garden Hospital was established on the 11th of July. The number of hospital beds was 30.
In February, West Garden Hospital was granted for the first time by the Ministry of Education with「Third-Grade Teaching Hospital」accreditation. Afterward, it was continuously accredited as「Regional Teaching Hospital」.
Construction of the Eonway Health Management Center of West Garden Hospital commenced.
Eonway Health Management Center officially opened on the 21st of February.
– Multi-slice computed tomography scanners (MSCT-64) were purchased on the 24th of February. – Toshiba MGU-100D mammography equipment was purchased on the 1st of November.
West Garden Hospital was granted with the Hospital Accreditation by the Department of Health, Taipei City. It was the only regional hospital that passed the assessment and was ranked at the same level in the Hospital of Excellence as the National Taiwan University Hospital and the Taipei Veterans General Hospital.
The latest model of low-noise magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanner was purchased.
Aquilion ONE 640-slice (320-detector rows) computed tomography (CT) scanner was purchased.
West Garden Hospital was granted with the international certification of Information Security Management System (ISO 27001:2005).
West Garden Hospital was awarded the「Gold Service Award」by the CommonWealth Magazine.
Eonway Postpartum Nursing Care Center attached to West Garden Hospital was established.
